BMW, Mini Debuting Hybrid, EV Models
BMW presented plug-in hybrid versions of its X3 SUV and 3 Series sedan at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

BMW and its Mini brand will be debuting plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles later this week at the Los Angeles auto show.
The BMW X3 xDrive30e plug-in hybrid vehicle sports activity vehicle and BMW 330e plug-in hybrid sedan will both be making their North American premiere on Nov. 20, 2019, as will the Mini Cooper SE, BMW's first battery-electric Mini.
The BMW X3 xDrive30e PHEV is the first-ever plug-in hybrid variant of the X3 and features a SULEV-rated 2.0-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine combined with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack. The BMW 330e plug-in hybrid sedan is the new, high-performance PHEV variant of the 3 Series, and is powered by the same engine as the new PHEV X3.
Meanwhile, the Mini Cooper SE, the brands new EV, which was announced in July earlier this year, will be powered by 181 hp and 199 lb.-ft. of torque, and will have a top speed of 93.2 mph.
The X3 xDrive30e will launch in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2020, and the PHEV 330e sedan is scheduled to arrive in spring 2020. The new Mini Cooper SE will go on sale early March 2020 at dealers across the U.S.
