Blossman Gas Inc. Acquires Dade Gas
Trenton, Ga-based Dale Gas' 2,200 customers will join Blossman’s customer base of 150,000. Blossman provides service to 12 states throughout the Southeast and Mid- Atlantic.
Blossman Gas Inc., a propane company based in Ocean Springs, Miss., purchased Dade Gas on Oct. 31. Dade Gas, located in Trenton, Ga., has been marketing propane for 22 years in northwest Georgia and northeast Alabama. Its 2,200 customers will join Blossman’s customer base of 150,000, and all Dade Gas employees will remain with Blossman Gas.
“We are very pleased that the owners of Dade Gas, Melvin Branford and Frank and Peggy Wallins, have selected Blossman Gas to continue their long tradition of exceptional service to their customers," said Stuart Weidie, Blossman's president and CEO. "This acquisition fits well into our strategy of acquiring quality propane companies in the eastern half of the United States.”
Blossman Propane Gas, Appliance & Service has provided service throughout the Southeast and Mid- Atlantic for more than 60 years. Servicing customers in 12 states from 72 branches, the family-and employee-owned company sells more than 85 million gallons of propane a year.
