Blossman Gas has purchased three propane autogas Ford F-650 bobtail trucks for fuel delivery, the propane dealer announced.

The trucks, purchased from ROUSH CleanTech, are powered by a 6.8L V-10 engine dedicated to propane autogas fuel. The vehicles will be deployed later in May with a 2,600-gallon barrel for the delivery of propane gas to Blossman’s residential and commercial accounts.

Ninety-five percent of the Blossman fleet running on gaseous fuels has been converted to propane autogas within the last two years, resulting in cost savings of over $976,000, according to Blossman Gas. The fleet has reduced greenhouse gas emissions by over 96 tons since by converting to autogas, the company added.
