Mobile Resource Management (MRM) solutions, designed to optimize the work of up to 17,000 BellSouth field technicians operating within its nine-state service area. BellSouth, a Fortune 500 communications company headquartered in Atlanta, selected @Road as its MRM solutions provider following a competitive RFP process that included a three-state pilot program. @Road end-to-end MRM solutions are designed to help businesses optimize the service delivery process by automating the management of their mobile workers, their mobile workers’ work, and their mobile workers’ assets. This is accomplished through a combination of technologies that can effectively deliver useful, Web-based location intelligent information intended to empower telecommunication providers like BellSouth with a view of field service operational performance and control over service delivery. @Road’s MRM offerings includes solutions for field force management such as GPS-based monitoring, mapping, reporting, as well as wireless communications, messaging, and automated workflow. Additionally, @Road MRM solutions for field service management consist of intelligent software for appointing, scheduling and dispatching, routing, and demand/capacity planning. Their MRM offerings also incorporate RFID, vehicle diagnostic/prognostic, and sensor technologies for driver safety, inventory management, and vehicle maintenance and scheduled servicing.
