BARTLETT, IL - Auto Truck Group (ATG) announced it has been awarded ship-thru status for the new 2013-MY Ford Escape at its Louisville Truck Equipment location, in Louisville, Ky. The facility, located at 407 N. English Station Road, will add the 2013-MY Ford Escape to its roster of available ship-thru models, according to the company.
When fleets order the new Ford Escape and use Auto Truck Group’s ship-thru code, the vehicles will be sent directly to Auto Truck Group’s facility for upfitting. Ship-thru upfits can include items such as strobe lights, hitches, GPS systems, mobile radios, and decals. Once the upfitting is complete, the vehicles will be returned to the factory for entry into Ford’s transportation system to the end destination. Auto Truck Group said its ship-thru code for the Ford Escape is 31L D9U.
