Audi Sedans, VW Hybrid Recalled for Fire Risk
Fuel leaks may occur in the fuel injection system in such popular luxury cars as the Audi A6 and A7.

Volkswagen Group of America is recalling 26,008 2011-2012 model-year vehicles because the fuel injection system is at risk for fuel leaks, creating a fire risk.
The recall, expected to get under way March 10, covers 2011-2012 Audi S4, S5 and Q7 vehicles; 2012 Audi A6 and Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid vehicles; and 2012-2013 Audi A7 vehicles, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports.
To resolve the problem, dealers will replace the fuel rails and corresponding seals. There will be no charge for this service.
Vehicle owners can reach Audi customer service at (800) 822-2834 or Volkswagen customer service at (800) 893-5298. Volkswagen’s numbers for this recall are 24AP for Audi customers and 24BK for Volkswagen customers.
