Audi A6, A7 Cars Recalled for Fuel Leaks
The recall, expected to get under way Feb. 5, covers nearly 48,700 luxury sedans in the 2012 to 2014 model years.

Volkswagen Group of America is recalling 48,693 2012-2014 Audi A6 and A7 sedans because of potential fuel leaks that pose a fire risk, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
In these luxury cars, the fuel line has a compression point that might weaken and result in a fuel leak, NHTSA said. To address the problem, Audi dealers will replace the fuel line at no charge to the customer. The recall is expected to begin Feb. 5.
Vehicle owners can reach Audi customer service at (888) 237-2834. Volkswagen's number for this recall is 20AR.
