AT&T Bumps UPS to Become Largest U.S. Fleet
TORRANCE, CA – With 86,099 total vehicles in its U.S. fleet, AT&T has surpassed UPS as the largest fleet in the country, based on data collected from Automotive Fleet's Top 300 Fleets listing.
TORRANCE, CA – With 86,099 total vehicles in its U.S. fleet, AT&T has surpassed UPS as the largest fleet in the country. Based on data collected from Automotive Fleet's Top 300 Fleets list, the telecommunications company outnumbers the delivery company's fleet by more than 13,000 vehicles. UPS currently has a total of 72,633 units.
With AT&T bumping UPS down to second-largest fleet in the country, Verizon comes in at third, with a total of 64,688 fleet vehicles.
The full list of fleets ranked by size will be featured in the 2009 Fleet 500 edition of Automotive Fleet magazine, to be released mid-May.
