ARI Joins Greater Philadelphia Clean Cities Coalition as Gold Level Stakeholder
MT. LAUREL, NJ - Automotive Resources International (ARI) has announced its Gold Level membership with the Greater Philadelphia Clean Cities Coalition.
MT. LAUREL, NJ- Automotive Resources International (ARI), a global fleet solutions provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, has announced its Gold Level membership with the Greater Philadelphia Clean Cities Coalition.
Clean Cities, which is administered through the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), provides resources to geographic regions throughout the country to promote the use of alternative fuel energies and vehicles. Aimed to advance new energy technologies and to protect the economic and environmental security of the U.S., the initiative distributes grant money administered by the U.S. government to close to 100 regional Clean Cities programs, including the Greater Philadelphia chapter.
ARI recently became a Gold Level stakeholder with the Greater Philadelphia chapter. "Through this partnership, we look to bridge the gap between environmental strategies and our clients' fuel reduction initiatives," said John Mack, ARI manager of Environment and Fuel Strategies.
As one of the founding Clean Cities programs, the coalition includes other non-profits, governments, and utilities in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The chapter encourages all local individuals and organizations to get involved in local activities to reduce dependence on oil and to raise awareness of the campaign throughout the region. These activities include stakeholder meetings, public outreach and media campaigns, training, workshops, etc.
