ARI, a leading global fleet services provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, is pleased to announce the introduction of a faster, more efficient ARI insights web-based and mobile fleet management system.
The ARI insights system collects and integrates critical vehicle and driver data from around the world and provides it to fleet clients, now faster than ever before. A new, intuitive user interface, along with a redesigned, easier-to-use navigation tool, enhances the user experience and reduces overall training time. Other improvements include streamlined processes, a more meaningful menu structure, and additional customizable fields to match terms commonly used by fleet managers. A dedicated team of ARI solution architects worked closely with customers to understand their business needs and incorporate their required solutions to these system enhancements.
“We approached this redesign as we do all of our projects – with the customer in mind,” said Tony Candeloro, ARI vice president of product development. “We worked closely with our customers to understand how they were using ARI insights and what improvements and changes would make their experience better, and then used those findings as our foundation for moving forward.
Our goals were to improve site appearance and navigation, streamline processes and improve the overall user experience, and reduce training time for new and occasional users,” Candeloro continued. “And, I think the new ARI insights system not only meets but exceeds those goals, and these enhancements will significantly improve the customer experience.”
In addition to data integration, the ARI insights system alerts fleet managers to actual or potential issues, offers tools for avoiding problems, and allows for improved communication with drivers to control costs and ensure compliance. The one-of-a-kind comprehensive reporting capabilities available through ARI insights help customers evaluate total spend before making key decisions, which leads to lower total cost of ownership.
In 2012, ARI announced its partnership with SAP in an effort to significantly reduce processing time and substantially broaden the scope of fleet reporting. ARI was one of the first companies in the world to use the SAP HANATM platform. This revolutionary in-memory technology works behind the scenes with a variety of client interfaces – including ARI insights – to provide users unmatched processing speed. Since adopting the HANA technology, ARI has been recognized for its exclusive adaptation to the fleet management field, leading to an award in the “Data to Decisions” category for Constellation Research’s 2012 SuperNova Awards, a Bronze Stevie Award in the Tech Innovation of the Year category at the 10th Annual American Business Awards, and a 2012 Fleet Europe Industry Award.
