MT. LAUREL, NJ - Automotive Resources International (ARI), a global fleet solutions provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, announced enhanced capabilities to track odometers and driver compliance within ARI insights, the company's Web-based fleet management system.
Fleet personnel using the ARI system are now alerted to drivers that have not entered their end-of-month odometers. They can also track odometers as of a specific day of the month or week to help track driver compliance.
A separate alert shows active vehicles with no odometer entries for a customizable period of time, which can help identify vehicles that may be idle or down.
Director, Client Information Systems, Dan O'Callahan commented, "Knowledge of vehicle odometers is vital to ensuring driver compliance to preventative maintenance schedules and driving routes and also in analyzing cost factors that contribute to replacement cycling decisions such as vehicle utilization and wear and tear. These two new features add to the fleet manager's ability to control total cost of ownership."
