MT. LAUREL, NJ- Automotive Resources International (ARI), a global fleet solutions provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, announces $12,600 will be donated to Autism Speaks on behalf of the ARI/Holman Autism Awareness team.  The latest and most profitable event for the charity team was the recent ARI silent auction that brought in more than $5,000.

Among the 28 raffled items, which were all donated by ARI executives and management, the single largest bid of $1,000 went to a fishing excursion hosted by ARI Senior Vice President Operations, Frank Cardile, and Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Bill Kwelty.  More than $1,700 was bid to various golf outings with ARI executives and managers, and more than $1,000 in bids went to professional baseball and football tickets and events.

The ARI/Holman Autism Awareness team was co-captained by ARI's Tim Weick, district manager, and Melissa Birmingham, assistant manager, client support services, who led a team of ARI and Holman dealership employees.  Additional team fundraising events included a t-shirt sale, dress-down days, a 50/50 raffle and a basket auction comprised of items donated by local businesses.

This Autism Awareness team organizes these fundraising events in conjunction with Walk Now for Autism, Autism Speaks' signature event.  The South Jersey Walk Now for Autism event took place on June 13 at the Bishop's Gate Corporate Center in Mount Laurel, NJ.

Tim Weick commented, "The leadership of ARI in this endeavor is only outdone by the ARI employees' commitment to help cure Autism. In these tough economic times, giving to a charity is more difficult than ever, yet team ARI/Holman raised our highest amount for Autism to date and was named the highest earning team in South Jersey."

Company support of Autism Speaks is in respect to Holman Enterprises' mission to give back to the communities that support its success.  Holman companies encourage employees to offer their time and talents to deserving community activities.
