MT. LAUREL, NJ — Automotive Resources International (ARI) announced on February 22 the expansion of its already-broad array of vehicle remarketing channels with Onlane by introducing the “Direct to Dealer” online remarketing system. Onlane is a supplier of customized, multi-channel internet remarketing solutions that provides ARI with online, wholesale internet auction sales and facilitates on-line retail sales of ARI vehicles through eBay Motors. The “Direct to Dealer” program, which complements the ARIAutoDirect.com and eBay Motors programs, facilitates a more efficient resale of fleet lease vehicles through ARI’s nationwide network of dealers, streamlining the buying and selling process and providing visibility of every vehicle from the time it is returned by a client until the conclusion of the remarketing cycle. The “Direct to Dealer” program’s consolidated, data-driven view of the company’s remarketing channels includes direct EDI (electronic data interchange) of pick-up notifications, electronic condition reports, floor prices and purchase offers. Event-driven e-mail notifications, real-time vehicle status tracking, on-line messaging tools. And a standardized, transparent process translate into faster cycle times on every sale, to every dealer. Onlane has been ARI’s online remarketing partner since 2001 with the launch of live Internet auction sales on the Onlane website to a nationwide network of fleet buyers. Since then, ARI and Onlane have expanded their relationship to include a successful program with eBay Motors in the retail channel and a dedicated, private labeled ARI on-line sale with nationwide inventory locations.
