AMI Leasing Announces Executive Staff Promotions
AMI Leasing and Fleet Management Services announced two new executive staff changes. John R. Buxton has been appointed assistant vice president of fleet management services and equipment lease products. Jeffrey Horn has been promoted to assistant vice president of national accounts.
AMI Leasing and Fleet Management Services announced two new executive staff changes. John R. Buxton has been appointed assistant vice president of fleet management services and equipment lease products. Jeffrey Horn has been promoted to assistant vice president of national accounts. Based at AMI Leasing's corporate headquarters in Worcester, Buxton is responsible for the development of new accounts for EquipmentLease, which provides businesses with an array of leased capital equipment. He also oversees fleet management services, which provides central fleet management, proactive maintenance management, and accident management. Buxton has served as manager of national accounts and as a regional sales manager for AMI Leasing. Before joining AMI in 1999, he served in management positions with GE Capital Fleet Services in Westborough, Mass., and Ryder TRS, Inc., in Atlanta and Boston. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. In his new position, Horn is responsible for developing new business and assumes responsibilities for AMI Leasing's largest truck fleet clients. Horn joined AMI Leasing as a lease account manager in 1997. He was named a national account manager in 2000 and manager, fleet services, sales and marketing in 2001. Horn earned AMI Leasing's Top Salesman Award twice and won the MVP Award for truck leasing operations in 2003. Before joining AMI Leasing, he served in sales positions with Daylight Transport of Los Angeles, and Roadway Express of Akron, Ohio. He earned his bachelor's degree from Bridgewater State College, Bridgewater, Mass.
