LAS VEGAS – Alternative Fuel Vehicle Institute (AFVi) will sponsor a free 90-minute Webinar on June 24 at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time (1:30 p.m. Eastern Time).

Fleets motivated by making vehicle and fuel choices that have the greatest environmental benefits need the evaluation tools offered by an emissions well-to-wheels analysis. This analysis looks at different scenarios using alternative fuels and alternative technologies for vehicles. It begins with the "well," where the feedstock is first extracted, and concludes with the power finally delivered to the wheels of the vehicle. The assessments look at battery electric, hybrid electric, and fuel cell vehicles, as well as those powered by biodiesel, ethanol, natural gas, and propane.

The Webinar will be moderated by Annalloyd Thomason, executive director of AFVi, and presented by Donald O'Connor, president of S&T Squared Consultants Inc.
