AFLA Gets 'Linked In'
ST. PAUL, MN – AFLA has begun utilizing online social networking site LinkedIn.com to help commercial fleet professionals connect on issues important to commercial fleet.
ST. PAUL, MN – AFLA enhanced its value package this month by launching a new LinkedIn Group for AFLA members. LinkedIn is a social networking Web site for busy professionals to connect online, discuss cutting-edge industry matters, and share resources. AFLA has begun utilizing LinkedIn to help commercial fleet professionals connect on issues important specifically to commercial fleet.
Each year, AFLA leaders rise to the challenge of improving even further the content and quality of the annual conference. The new LinkedIn Group allows members to discuss topics that are most important to them. Those topics that generate the most discussion are a natural fit for a session at the in-person conference, taking place next September 9-11, 2009 at the Biltmore Resort in Phoenix, Ariz. In addition to the LinkedIn Group, AFLA provides member benefits throughout the year, including quarterly industry teleconferences, monthly whitepapers, and a searchable member directory. More detail is available on each of these programs at the AFLA Web site, www.aflaonline.com.
