AFLA Conference Gets Strong Support from Industry
PHOENIX - Despite a downturn in the economy, registration for the 2009 AFLA Conference exceeds 2008 attendance.
PHOENIX- Despite a downturn in the economy, registration for the 2009 AFLA Conference, set for Sept. 9-11 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix, exceeds 2008 attendance. Cited by fleet professionals as the must-attend conference of 2009, the event is less than one month away.
Themed "Managing the Matrix of Change," the 2009 conference will now open Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 3 p.m. with the golf outing held Thursday, the second day. These scheduling changes from previous conference years will allow the final day to be used for travel time rather than cutting into the weekend. Click here to view the conference agenda.
In addition to informative sessions and panel discussions, the 2009 Fleet Hall of Fame inductees will also be announced. Twenty-seven nominees made the cut this year, but only nine will be inducted in a special ceremony commemorating AFLA's 40th anniversary. See this year's nominees.
More information about the conference is available at www.aflaonline.com.
