ADESA Mexico announced that Michel Gillies is its new general manager. ADESA Mexico is one of 54 wholesale vehicle remarketing auctions owned by Indianapolis-based ADESA Corp., an ALLETE company. A graduate of Anahuac University in Mexico City, Gillies was previously employed by The Hertz Corp. as general director, overseeing Mexican operations. In his new position, Gillies will be charged with building and enhancing relationships with Mexico’s used vehicle customers and overseeing the daily activities at the auction. Additionally, he will develop relationships with original equipment manufacturers and local business organizations.
