ADESA Makes eBusiness and Sales Appointments
Roger Laurendeau has been named director of eBusiness for ADESA Corp. In his new role, Laurendeau, who began his career with ADESA Canada as manager of eCommerce in 2000, will be responsible for overseeing the creation and development of online services for ADESA.
Roger Laurendeau has been named director of eBusiness for ADESA Corp. In his new role, Laurendeau, who began his career with ADESA Canada as manager of eCommerce in 2000, will be responsible for overseeing the creation and development of online services for ADESA. He will oversee new product launches for ADESA eServices. Laurendeau will also handle the introduction of DealerBlock.com in the U.S., an Internet selling system that empowers dealers and consignors to buy and sell online. On ADESA’s national sales team, Grace Appleton, David Gresens, Brent Huisman, and Justyn Amstutz have been named executive sales directors. In their new positions, they will manage and maintain ADESA’s customer relationships with banks, manufacturers, captive finance, and car-rental companies. Appleton, who was formerly ADESA’s director of North American eBusiness strategy, will be based in Indianapolis. Gresens previously served as ADESA’s director of Commercial Remarketing Services and will be based in Peachtree City, GA. Huisman, who was Bank One’s national dealer sales manager before joining ADESA’s national sales team, will be based in Phoenix. Amstutz, who joined ADESA San Diego as assistant general manager in 2000, will be based in San Diego.
