ADESA Corp. has introduced the ADESA Open, a weekly online, interactive vehicle auction powered by LiveLane.com. “The ADESA Open began with five ADESA auctions and five sellers,” said Tina Carfaro, national eTeam manager for ADESA Corp. “In less than two months the number of participating auctions and sellers has almost doubled which tells us there is high interest in multiple seller, multiple auction, interactive bid sales.” Weekly sales are hosted every Monday from 2 to 3 p.m. EST. Auctions participating in the pilot include ADESA Ark-La-Tex, ADESA Birmingham, ADESA Buffalo, ADESA Charlotte, ADESA Cleveland, ADESA Concord, ADESA Dallas, ADESA Golden Gate, ADESA Indianapolis, ADESA Seattle and ADESA Wisconsin. Featured sellers include Avis Rent-A-Car, WFS, Inc., Budget Rent-a-Car, American Honda Finance, Wheels, Inc. CitiCapital Fleet, Donlen Corp., Bank One, M&T Bank, National Car Sales and Hyundai Motors America. “Buyers and sellers cite the convenience and simplicity of buying online as their main reason for participating in the ADESA Open.
