ADESA announced that it has named Christine Walsh to the position of senior vice president, commercial sales operations. Walsh who has served as ADESA's senior vice president, fleet operations since 1996 possesses more than 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. In her new position, Walsh will be charged with overseeing ADESA's fleet/lease, captive finance, and factory operations. She will report to Chuck Tapp, executive vice president, sales and marketing. In addition to Walsh's appointment, ADESA has also named three new fleet/lease managers at ADESA Charlotte, ADESA Ocala, and ADESA San Diego. With eight years of wholesale vehicle auction experiences, Pamela Keefe began her career with ADESA Charlotte in 1996 as the auction's marketing manager before assuming the position of assistant fleet/lease manager in 1999. In 2000, Keefe left ADESA Charlotte to pursue other interests. By 2001 she returned to the auction, now taking on responsibilities as the auction's office manager. In her latest promotion, Keefe will be charged with leading ADESA Charlotte's fleet/lease department. At ADESA Ocala, Todd Strawn has been appointed to the position of fleet/lease manager. A graduate of Wake Forest University, Strawn grew up in the automotive industry, having family roots in a new-car dealership. Before assuming the fleet/lease manager position at ADESA Ocala, Strawn owned and operated a GM Dealership in Gainesville, Fla., for 12 years. In ADESA's Western region, Jose Arroyo has been promoted to the position of fleet/lease manager for ADESA San Diego. Arroyo, who began his career with ADESA San Diego in 1999 as the auction's I/T coordinator and front office manager, had previously served as ADESA San Diego's marketing manager and arbitration manager. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Southwestern College in San Diego.
