The enhanced range version is expected to serve even more industry use cases, like refrigerated delivery, with up to 32% more range, providing up to 159 miles on a single charge with an 89 kWh usable energy battery.

Faster Charging Solution, Pricing, and Incentives

The E-Transit sees faster charging times due to the new dual onboard chargers, which are 22% faster than before when using Ford Pro’s 80A Series 2 charger.

The van is also equipped with E-Telematics and in-vehicle driver assist features like Standard Lane-Keeping System, Pre-Collision Assist with AEB, and high-resolution cameras can help to enhance safety and driver confidence.

The 2024 E-Transit with enhanced range has a starting MSRP of $51,095 and is eligible for the $7,500 federal Commercial Clean Vehicle Tax Credit and various state and local incentives.

Celebrating a Decade of the E-Transit

The electric van has saved over 3 million gallons of gas and reduced CO2 emissions by more than 25 million kilograms — the equivalent of planting over 413,000 tree seedlings and letting them grow for a decade.

The E-Transit also supports U.S. manufacturing, with assembly at the Kansas City Assembly Plant (KCAP) and its enhanced range battery produced at the Rawsonville Components Plant in Michigan.

With the Transit family celebrating its 10th anniversary in the U.S. in 2024, Ford reports more than 1.2 million E-Transit units have been assembled at the KCAP over the decade, with 99% still on the road today.

The E-Transit also helps fleets reduce their total cost of ownership, championed as the Best Fleet Value in America in its category by Vincentric for the third consecutive year due to reduced fuel, maintenance, and operating costs.
