2013 Audi allroad Wins 'Active Lifestyle Vehicle of the Year' Award

CHANDLER, AZ – Audi’s 2013-MY allroad wagon won the Active Lifestyle Vehicle (ALV) of the Year award in the Luxury On-Road category. This year’s edition of the ALV awards, the ninth year Carspondent.com has organized the awards, featured 28 finalists in seven categories. The 2013-MY Audi allroad competed with five other finalists in the Luxury On-Road category.
Contest judges evaluated vehicles for in each category on overall design, engine power, fuel efficiency, and cargo capability. This year’s victory for the allroad follows a win for the Audi A7 in 2011 in the same category, and a win for the Audi Q7 TDI in the Family Vehicle category.
Audi stated that the 2013-MY allroad, which returned to the U.S. market after a seven-year hiatus, is faster and more fuel-efficient than its predecessor.
