Merchants Fleet was honored with three Stevie Awards in the 18th annual American Business Awards.

The company received a gold Stevie for “Fastest Growing Company of the Year,” and two bronze Stevies for “Most Innovative Company of the Year” for companies up to 2,500 employees as well as “Achievement in Management” in recognition of Merchants Fleet CEO Brendan P. Keegan.

The awards come on the heels of a period of rapid growth for the company. Last month, Merchants Fleet secured $50 million in growth financing from Bain Capital Credit to further accelerate the company’s growth trajectory. Earlier in April, the company announced that in a 24-hour period, one million homes would receive essential goods in a vehicle managed by Merchants Fleet. In conjunction with the increase in home deliveries, Merchants Fleet recently surpassed 15,000 vehicle orders for last mile & home delivery companies since December 2018.

“We are thrilled to be recognized by The American Business Awards with a trio of awards across multiple categories,” said Keegan. “Innovation and leadership are key cornerstones of our culture and accelerated growth efforts, and it is by design that we are excelling in all of these strategies during this transformational time for our industry. I am so proud of the entire Merchants Fleet team whose hard work and dedicated commitment to providing our clients with flexible, customized, and innovative solutions made this recognition possible.”

All organizations operating in the U.S. are eligible to submit nominations for the American Business Awards – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. More than 3,600 nominations were reviewed in the judging process this year by more than 230 professionals worldwide.
