Verizon Connect has launched a dispatch solution for field service fleets that integrates with its Reveal cloud-based telematics platform, the company announced.

Field Service Dispatch brings vehicle location data together with technician status updates to help fleet managers improve dispatching and scheduling.

Features include simplified scheduling, easy dispatching, real-time notifications, a mobile app for technicians, and live map integration.

With the scheduling feature, fleet managers can view available technicians and vehicle location to schedule jobs in a calendar view. A dispatching feature enables notifications to technicians that a job has been scheduled. Real-time notifications allow customers to receive booking confirmations and reminders.

A mobile app allows technicians to enter notes, photos, and signatures from the jobsite so the back office can remain up to date.

A live mapping feature shows a technician's real-time location and schedule information.
