Ford Recalls Ranger Pickup for Seat Belt Issue
Ford Motor Co. is recalling an estimated 7,580 2019 Ranger SuperCab vehicles for a seat belt issue. Specifically, the right-front seat belt may have been improperly assembled.

Ford Motor Co. is recalling an estimated 7,580 2019 Ranger SuperCab vehicles for a seat belt issue. Specifically, the right-front seat belt may have been improperly assembled.
With this situation, the seat belt may not adequately restrain occupants in the event of a collision, which increases the likelihood of injury.
To fix the problem, dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the right-front seat belt assembly.
The automaker is not aware of any reports of accident or injury related to this issue.
Affected vehicles were built from June 18, 2018, to June 18, 2019, at Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, Michigan. Ford’s reference number for this recall is 19S23.
