Advanced Driver Training Services will begin offering Special Topic Presentations as training to help fleet drivers identify and eliminate unsafe habits and collisions.

The presentations feature highly skilled instructors, who are current or former law enforcement professionals, who use an engaging and humorous approach that builds buy-in and improves content retention, according to the company.

Fleet managers can customize presentations to address company-specific driving issues or cover the topics most relevant to the organization's fleet and its driving experience.

Popular topics include driver distraction; the benefits and risks of vehicle technology; drowsy driving; proper scanning for crash avoidance; rear-end collisions (the most common crash type); impaired driving (alcohol and drugs); and foul weather driving.

Program length is flexible with most sessions averaging 30 minutes to 1.25 hours.
