The Hilux retained the No. 1 spot and the Land Cruiser placed third, while the Ford Ranger was listed in second, according to Dataforce. Ford was second to Toyota in 2018 with regards to fleet registrations.

Toyota was the leading brand in the Australian fleet market in 2018, which was bolstered by having two of its products listed as some of the top fleet vehicles of 2018 for the country, the Toyota Hilux and Land Cruiser.

The Hilux retained the No. 1 spot and the Land Cruiser placed third, while the Ford Ranger was listed in second, according to Dataforce. Ford was second to Toyota in 2018 with regards to fleet registrations. Other leading fleet models included the Isuzu D-Max and the Chevrolet Colorado.

Meanwhile, the percentage of fleets in the automotive market had been growing steadily since 2015 (though it took a slight dip from 2014 to 2015) the volume dropped by a little over 5,000 units in 2018.

Overall passenger car registrations for 2018 were at 1,110,630 units, which included light commercial vehicles up to 3.5t, reports Dataforce. Over 50% of households in Australia have access to two or more vehicles.
