The GLE 450 also features E-Active Body Control suspension, which is a fully active suspension that allows the GLE to control spring and damping forces individually at each wheel.

Other available features include improved driver assistance systems, including active stop-and-go assist that enables the GLE to recognize traffic jams at an early stage and support the driver in stop-and-go traffic. The GLE also included the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system with voice control, and introduces the new MBUX Interior Assistant, which supports operating intentions by recognizing hand and arm movements, according to the automaker.

Additional features include blind-spot assist and active-parking assist, according to Mercedes-Benz. All GLE models include nine-speed automatic transmission, and now features a newly available third row seat.

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 with 4Matic and the GLE 450 will be available in the U.S. starting in spring 2019, follow by the GLE 350 later that summer.
