Fleet Response has been named a Family Business Achievement award winner by Smart Business magazine, the fleet safety provider has announced.
Members of the company's executive team attended a Sept. 6 event that was also attended by 2018 Employee of the Year finalists. Fleet Response and other honorees will be highlighted at the 2018 Family Business Conference, according to the company.
"We are in the service industry, so everything starts with people," said Scott Mawaka, president and chief executive. "Being recognized as an Honoree is special, because it's not only recognizing my family, but the Fleet Response corporate family as a whole."
The award recognizes family and closely-held businesses that best demonstrate innovative business practices designed to enhance the business dynamic.
