Aftermarket parts supplier RMP Powertrain Solutions has changed its name and will begin operating as Holman Parts Distribution, the company has announced.

The name change is part of a larger strategic effort that will allow the company to maximize strategic synergies with its parent company, Holman Automotive Group, Inc., which will in turn support the company's continued success in existing markets as well as growth in new markets, according to Holman Automotive.

The company has also refreshed its website at Holmanparts.com.

The organization will look to grow the OE powertrain parts distribution segment especially to its large, national fleet clients. It plans to increase the sales of Ford powertrain products as a Ford Authorized Distributor, according to a release.

The company also announced several personnel appointments to support the new business strategy.

Ray Roller has stepped into the role of vice president of sales. In his new role, Roller will oversee all activities related to the sales process, including the customer support department, the Ford sales channel and the fleet sales channel. Roller joined the company in 1984 and was appointed marketing manager in 2010. In 2011, he was promoted to the position of sales director for the Eastern region.

Steve Wilkerson will become vice president of operations, and will take the lead in coordinating all of Holman Parts' operations and warehouses. Wilkerson joined the company in 2009 after serving for 19 years as the president of Dealers Engines Sales, a company that was acquired in 2009.

Gary Ernst will take on the role of Ford sales manager. In his new role, he will be responsible for the Ford sales channel, and the Ford dealer account representatives will report to him. Ernst also joined the company in 2009 after the acquisition of Dealers Engine Sales where he spent 33 years and served as their vice president of sales.
Kevin Lydic has been promoted to customer support manager. In his new role, he will oversee all activities related to the customer support staff. Lydic joined the company in 2011 as an outside sales representative.

Ken Tomko has been promoted to the role of warehouse manager. In his new role, he will have oversight of warehouse operations. Tomko joined the company in 1984. He was promoted to the role of warehouse supervisor in 1994 and to operation manager in 1997.
