Toyota will introduce its Fuel Cell Vehicle in California in late 2015 for sale rather than offering it as a leased vehicle similar to Hyundai's Tuscon Fuel Cell compact SUV offered in the state this summer, Toyota has announced.

Toyota is giving away one of its FCVs to an individual owner as part of the Environmental Media awards on Oct. 18 at a star-studded ceremony in Southern California. The awards honor members of the entertainment industry and are hosted by the Environmental Media Association.

California residents can enter a drawing for Toyota FCV by purchasing a ticked for $100 at Biddingforgood.com.
