Chris Hoehner Retires from Almost 20 Years at Volkswagen of America

Chris Hoehner, Sr. retired as director of corporate sales for Volkswagen of America on Sept. 30, 2021, capping a 19-year career with the company where he had worked since 2002.
As director of corporate sales, Hoehner managed all national sales and marketing activities for Volkswagen brand rental, commercial, and special program sales. Earlier, Hoehner was general manager, fleet & certified pre-Owned for VWoA, managing all aspects of Volkswagen national fleet, used-vehicle, and special program sales. He held this position from 2008 to 2011.
Hoehner served in a variety of management roles during his career at VWoA. He started in his career at VWoA as an area executive in April 2002 working in Columbia, S.C., managing all sales and marketing operations activities a territory of 14 Volkswagen dealers in a three-state area.
Prior to joining VWoA, Hoehner worked for Ford Motor Co. for 19 years as a regional market representation manager managing all aspects of franchising operations for 300-plus count dealer network in a five-state area.
