Merchants Fleet announced on June 11 that Tom Coffey, senior vice president of fleet sales and consulting, has been named a Globee winner in the 8th Annual 2021 Sales and Customer Service Excellence Awards.
This global award recognizes achievements in sales, service, support, and business development from all over the world.
“I am thrilled to receive this esteemed recognition from the Globee Awards,” Coffey said. “As a 37-year veteran of the fleet industry, I’ve had the privilege of leading some of the best sales and service teams in the business, and it’s an honor to be recognized on the global stage for all that we have accomplished.”
In his role, Coffey leads a team of 45 business development professionals throughout the U.S., including fleet consulting, product development and electrification experts. Under Coffey’s leadership, these teams provide strategic oversight to Merchants’ development of offerings to the broad fleet client base.
The Globee Sales and Customer Service Excellence Awards is a worldwide recognitions program created to honor the achievements of champions in sales and customer success. Judges from a broad spectrum of industries around the globe participated in the process, and their average scores determined the 2021 award winners.
“Continuing to raise the bar higher for standards in sales and customer service are key to customer success,” said San Madan, co-president at the Globee Awards. “Effective customer success strategy can lead to higher business growth.”
