MOUNT LAUREL, NJ – ARI, a leading global fleet services provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, was named by Constellation Research Inc. a 2012 SuperNova Award Semifinalist. The Constellation SuperNova Awards celebrate the explorers, pioneers, and champions of technology that battle the odds to effect change in their organizations and create disruptions in their market.

Constellation Research selected the semifinalists in the second annual SuperNova awards from a pool of more than 120 applicants. ARI Senior Vice President and CIO, Steve Haindl, was recognized as among the few that have overcome the odds in successfully applying emerging and disruptive technologies within their organizations.

Under Haindl’s leadership, ARI became one of the first companies in the world and the first in its industry to implement the innovative SAP HANATM platform, leveraging the power of in-memory technology to deliver real-time analytics on high volumes of data. SAP HANATM processes ARI’s “Big Data” 3,600 times faster than traditional hard drives. Ultimately, ARI has completely transformed the fleet industry by making data more accessible, understandable and actionable to help fleet managers run their fleets more efficiently and at a lower cost than ever before.

The winners will be announced at the SuperNova Awards gala dinner on November 9, 2012 in Newport Beach, California, on the first night of Constellation’s Connected Enterprise innovation summit.

“Steve has done a tremendous job, along with his entire IT team, strategizing and implementing the groundbreaking SAP HANATM platform across our organization,” said ARI President, Carl A. Ortell. “I’d like to congratulate him on this continued recognition by leaders in the IT community, which reinforces ARI’s commitment to our customers in providing fleet excellence through technology.”
