PHOENIX - The 2009 AFLA Conference, set for Sept. 9-11 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix, is less than one month away! Registration for this year's event — cited by fleet professionals as the must-attend conference of 2009 — is up since last year, exceeding the association's expectations.

Themed "Managing the Matrix of Change," the 2009 conference will now open Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 3 p.m. The golf outing previously held on the last day of the conference will instead take place on Thursday, the second day. These changes allow the final day to be used for travel time rather than cutting into the weekend. Click here to view the conference agenda.

In addition to informative sessions and panel discussions, the 2009 Fleet Hall of Fame inductees will also be announced. Twenty-seven nominees made the cut this year, but only nine will be inducted in a special ceremony commemorating AFLA's 40th anniversary. See this year's nominees.

The last day for the $179 group rate on a hotel reservation at the Arizona Biltmore is Monday, August 17. Click here for more information.
