In Memoriam: Jordan Kapson – 1926-2006

MISHAWAKA, IN - Jordan Kapson, chairman of Jordan Automotive Network, passed away in his sleep at his home, apparently from a heart attack. He was 82. Kapson founded Jordan Automotive, which consists of Ford, Toyota, Scion, and Volvo franchises.

Volvo XC90 Ranks Top in Test of Whiplash Protection

IRVINE, CA – In tests of SUVs and pickups by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the Volvo XC90 has earned a top rating for whiplash protection systems. The IIHS used crash test dummies to register loads on the neck during a simulated impact from the rear. This is the first time the IIHS has carried out a dynamic test with SUVs and pickup trucks.
