SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE – Wright Express Corp. President and Chief Executive Officer Michael E. Dubyak has been selected as a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards. For the past 20 years, Ernst & Young has recognized the contributions of entrepreneurs who build and sustain world-class businesses. During his 20 years at Wright Express, Dubyak helped to create a new electronic fleet payment industry. During this time, he consistently delivered strong results through his management style and commitment to customer satisfaction. Dubyak helped lead the company through eight years of its venture capital stage and then five subsequent ownership changes, culminating with an initial public offering in early 2005. Wright Express has had record profits every year under his eight years as president and CEO, and the company reported growth in its first year as a publicly traded company. A strong believer in being a good corporate neighbor, Dubyak also was recognized for Wright Express’ positive contributions to its community in South Portland and the surrounding communities. In fact, Dubyak was recognized by the Portland-based Institute for Civic Leadership as the recipient of its “Distinguished Alumni Award” in 2005.
