Join leaders Ed Peper, VP General Motors Fleet, Shaun Skinner, President & CEO of Isuzu Truck of America, Inc., Raj Sarkar,‎ GM Commercial Vehicle Marketing, Ford Motor Company, ‎ Jim Press, Former COO Toyota N.A., Rhett Ricart, President Ricart Ford, Charlie Gilchrist, President/CEO Gilchrist Automotive Group, and more who will present during the summit.

The first day of the summit March 3, 2021 is Business & Industry focused and offers industry stakeholders in all commercial vehicle segments an opportunity to hear experts speak on subjects ranging from inventory, EV, connected, autonomous, new OEMs, finance, supply chain, fleet and data.

One of the panel discussions on March 3 is entitled “Players and Products.” The panel will discuss how transformation requires that companies remake themselves to take advantage of new opportunities. Also discussed is which companies are best positioned to succeed, core competencies needed, and developing business models of tomorrow’s successful players.

The panelists include Lee Kirby, senior fleet manager for PepsiCo, Inc.; Angie Lauer, assistant vice president for Enterprise Fleet Management; Carolyn Edwards, head of sales and marketing of Masterack; and Chris Visse, senior analyst and product manager, Commercial Vehicles of J.D. Power. The panel will be moderated by Mike Antich editor of Automotive Fleet Magazine.

Other panel discussions on March 3 will include a focus on technology and data, and the future of connected, autonomous, shared, and electric vehicles.

The following day, March 4, will be focused on dealerships with a comprehensive overview of best practice operations and opportunities for developing a unique commercial vehicle business. The panel discussions will educate attendees on how to leverage brand, local market, and build a solid B2B business. Meanwhile, discussions with existing successful dealers will model how to transform a dealership into a local commercial business powerhouse.

Panel discussions for this day will include building a B2B sales operation calls for a different mindset; data and digital marketing; how to help commercial customers with choices in electrification and other alt-fuels; and how specifically commercial services offer big, sustainable, profit opportunities for dealerships.

Each of the two days will kick off with a keynote address, then offer a fireside chat with industry veteran Jim Press. Panels will be followed by an opportunity for discussion in themed breakouts. Additional key speakers will be featured throughout both days.
