Wisconsin Clean Cities, Inc. (WCC) will host its eighth annual stakeholder meeting and Wisconsin Clean Transportation Program (WCTP) Recognition Banquet on Dec. 10 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.

Each year, WCC recognizes the efforts and many successes of its members to develop clean-fueling infrastructure and advance the understanding of the benefits of clean-fuel vehicles. WCC also recognizes their work to develop Clean Corridors on interstate highways and trade routes.

WCC has moved its annual recognition event this year to the iconic Lambeau Field in recognition of its shift from a southeast region to a statewide Clean Cities coalition. WCC announced its re-designation in June of 2013.

Following the annual meeting, WCC will host a banquet to celebrate the completion of the four-year WCTP and recognize the partners who helped make it a success. Since its inception in 2009, the WCTP has updated or installed 13 private and four public alternative fueling or electric charging stations and deployed over 300 vehicles on state roads. It is estimated that the program will displace over 1.6 million gallons of petroleum each year.

The schedule for the day is: networking, 2 to 3 p.m.; WCC Annual Stakeholder Meeting, 3 to 4 p.m.; cocktails/networking and optional Lambeau tours, 4 to 6 p.m.; and WCTP recognition banquet, 6 to 8 p.m. in the Legends Club Room, Lambeau Field Atrium, 1265 Lombardi Ave.

Tickets for WCC members and WCTP partners are $20 before Nov. 29 ($25 after). For non-members, tickets cost $30 before Nov. 29 ($35 after). Lambeau Field tours are an additional $10. Sponsorship opportunities are available.

For more details or to register for the event, visit the Wisconsin Clean Cities website.
