Wheels, Inc. has been named the winner of a both a Gold and Silver "Stevie" award at the 14th annual American Business Awards, the fleet management company announced.
Wheels' newly revamped online management tool, FleetView, was awarded the Gold Stevie award as the top overall company in the Best Interface Design category, while the company's new Reimbursement Program received a Silver Stevie in the Business-to-Business Service category.
"The last 12 months at Wheels have been very exciting. We introduced two new innovations that support our commitment to providing our clients with the best services and tools in the automotive fleet management industry," said Dan Frank, president of Wheels, Inc. "That we were honored with Gold and Silver Stevie Awards for these products is a testament to this commitment, and an accomplishment of which we are very proud."
The new FleetView is unlike any other online management platform in the fleet management industry. It provides Wheels' clients with a host of innovative tools and features that make it easier for users to judge their fleet's performance, identify opportunities for optimization and take effective action.
Another innovation Wheels rolled out in 2016 was its new Reimbursement program. Wheels' new solution marks the first time a fleet management company has offered support services that help clients manage reimbursed vehicles to the same professional standards as their company-provided vehicle fleets.
"Many of our clients have varying transportation and driver needs in their fleet – leasing may work best in some applications, while reimbursement may work better in others. Seasonal work, medical exceptions, new hires, startup initiatives, low mileage drivers, cultural issues or acquisition of a company with an existing reimbursement program are some of the reasons we've found clients may choose reimbursement for a segment of their employees," said Frank. "The Wheels Reimbursement Program allows clients to provide the optimal solution for each employee and is at the forefront of industry-leading innovation."
