Companies with higher mileage vehicles typically don't get the benefit of a warranty program. Now, Wheels, Inc. has extended the mileage limits on its three-month/3,000-mile warranty to 110,000 miles. It has also extended mileage limits to 80,000 miles on the 12-month/24,000-mile service contracts.
"Highlights of the new program include increased coverage of the standard transmission, 4 x 4 transfer case and locking hub assemblies, as well as an increase in both rental and towing coverage," said Darrin Aiken, assistant vice president of remarketing for Wheels. "There have also been additions made to the covered parts list."
