WEX Inc. has established a fleet card contract with Verizon to provide its fleet with a transparent way to view and analyze fuel consumption.
WEX will provide more than 25,000 fleet cards to the communications company as well as offer additional insight into its fleet operations via WEX’s proprietary ClearView analytics platform, the company announced in a release.

ClearView analytics is a digital visualization tool that takes the fueling transactions that companies can use to manage product type controls, uncover fraud, and identify cost saving opportunities.
“Our best-in-class technology and superior resources is designed to help Verizon achieve strategic success. We look forward to a close relationship allowing us to co-develop new solutions that will benefit both our businesses,” said Bernie Kavanagh, senior vice president and general manager of North America large fleet and strategic relationships at WEX.
Kavanagh also noted that WEX’s resources played an integral role in the establishment of the partnership, Verizon recognized WEX’s tenure in implementing and managing large public and private sector fleets.
