Volkswagen's 2017 Golf Alltrack will retail for at least $27,770 when it arrives at dealer showrooms in October, the automaker announced.
The Golf Alltrack is an all-wheel-drive Golf SportWagen with an extra inch of ground clearance, body cladding, and an off-road mode with hill descent control and optimized traction control. The vehicle adds VW's 4MOTION AWD system.
The vehicle is powered by an EA888 1.4L four-cylinder TSI gasoline engine that makes 170 hp and 199 lb.-ft. of torque.
In July, the Golf Alltrack earned a 5-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
