Kurt Zabel has recently assumed duties as vice president of operations at Sioux Falls Auto Auction. The auction’s general manager since November, 2000, Zabel will be responsible for the physical plant, administration and auction programs. He has worked at the auction and at DSI, the Zabel Group’s automotive division, since 1985.
Taking Zabel’s place as general manager at Sioux Falls Auto Auction is Shane Lien, formerly sales manager and assistant general manager. As GM, Lien will supervise sale operations and service departments. Lien transferred to Sioux Falls in April, 2001, after working for Tri-State Auction, Fargo for a number of years in various capacities.
