ROCKLEIGH, NJ - Volvo Cars of North America (VCNA) has recently appointed Gerry Merritts to the position of national fleet manager.
According to the automaker, Merritts replaces Tim Rowe, who has moved to the role of manager, sales planning, distribution and logistics.
Merritts, 47, has been with Volvo for 24 years in various positions in parts, service, and sales roles, according ot the company. Most recently, Merritts served as commercial fleet market manager where he was responsible for supporting fleet customers in the Northeast region of the United States.
The company introduced new AI-driven fleet safety and operations technologies during its annual user conference.
