Volvo's refreshed 2015 XC90 mid-size SUV will get a top-tier audio system from Bowers and Wilkins the automaker says is "one of the top audio systems available in the automotive world."
The system, which includes an integrated air-ventilated subwoofer, uses bespoke acoustic technology developed over five decades, according to Bowers and Wilkins.
The system includes extended-range aluminum tweeters and Kevlar mid-range units. It also features a center speaker with Bowers & Wilkins tweeter-on-top technology for the first time in a car to provide a more open, spacious sound, according to Volvo.
