Midway Specialty Vehicles, LLC recently delivered Mercedes-Benz Sprinter unit number 15,000 to U.S Kids Golf, LLC. Midway, a provider of customized specialty vehicle conversions, has facilities in Elkhart, Indiana and Ladson, South Carolina.
U.S Kids Golf specializes in introducing kids to the game of golf through certified coaches, tournaments, camps, and golf equipment. Midway’s customized conversion is designed to help U.S Kids Golf promote its equipment by providing a tool in which to take its products directly to pro shops for review and evaluation, according to the company.
The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicle conversion includes amenities that offer a pleasing décor for product display, according to the company. The interior walls, ceiling, and door panels are insulated and covered by a durable cloth fabric. A display area built behind the driver securely provides a golf club display for youth ranging in height from 39 inches to 63 inches. A slat wall board for display of gloves, socks, and other hanging supplies is also located behind the driver.
Other accessory items to complete the upfit package include a 2,000-watt inverter, 110-volt outlets, backup camera system, rear air conditioning and heat system, and a video monitor system. Finally, a colorful custom decal package was designed and installed on the exterior of the vehicle.
Midway, with 34 years of experience, offers many types of commercial and specialty conversions on all types of minivans, full-size vans, Sprinter vans and trucks, transit and shuttle vans and buses, and box trucks. Products are marketed nationally to customers ranging in size from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
