U. of Colorado Fleet Director Moves to Non-Profit
Bryan Flansburg, CAFM, director of transportation services for the University of Colorado, has retired and is now working as the fleet manager of the I Have a Dream Foundation of Boulder County.

Bryan Flansburg, CAFM, director of Transportation Services for the University of Colorado, retired on Dec. 31 to take a full-time job as the fleet manager and Salesforce administrator of the I Have a Dream Foundation of Boulder County. He started there as a part-timer in March of 2014.
Flansburg has 30 years of fleet experience, 28 of those with the University of Colorado. Transportation Services has 55 employees that reports through two area managers — fleet and transit. The fleet consists of 622 units located in three campuses.
An active member of NAFA Fleet Management Association, Flansburg previously served terms in appointed and elected positions at a local and national level and has facilitated and conducted numerous training sessions.
He was instrumental in originating the University of Colorado's biodiesel program, which has been recognized nationwide. He received NAFA’s distinguished Larry Goill award in 2011 for innovative fleet ideas.
Flansburg said he chose to stay in the fleet industry becuase he knew the I Have a Dream Foundation needed help managing its fleet and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, and he wanted to give back to NAFA.
The university is recruiting for a new Transportation Services director.
