Trimble Unveils Next-Generation Work Management Software Solution
Trimble announced the release of its next-generation Work Management solution, a cloud-based software that enhances the productivity of mobile workforces through intelligent scheduling tools and state-of-the-art performance analytics.
Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB) announced the release of its next-generation Work Management solution, a cloud-based software that enhances the productivity of mobile workforces through intelligent scheduling tools and state-of-the-art performance analytics. Work Management is part of Trimble's integrated suite of field service management solutions that also includes Fleet Management and Driver Safety. Trimble's advanced technology provides field services businesses with the resources they need to manage their mobile operations.
"Field service organizations are constantly striving to be more efficient in managing their mobile workers," said Mark Forrest, general manager of Trimble's Field Service Management Division. "In launching the next-generation Work Management solution, with its enhanced analytics and dispatch and task management capabilities, we can help organizations increase field productivity and flexibility to ultimately transform the way work is planned, allocated, managed, reported and evaluated. This can lead to lower operating costs, increased efficiencies and improved customer service--three key challenges in field service."
The next-generation Trimble Work Management solution is available in two packages:
Performance Insight--which includes Performance Management Analytics, a suite of dashboards and reports that show key metrics including quality of service, efficiency and utilization of workers to deliver in-depth analysis and easily identify key trends and areas for improvement.
Performance Optimize--which includes Performance Management Analytics coupled with Scheduling and Optimization, a dynamic set of tools to plan, monitor and manage the execution of the workday in real-time to fully utilize the workforce.
The depth of the next-generation Work Management solution raises workforce management to a new level. Without performance management analytics, the field service manager may have quantities of data but doesn't know what it means or how to use it to fully drive improvement. Performance Management Analytics provide visibility into what is preventing organizations from completing more jobs. Managers can look at regions, teams and even individual workers by job type and performance and gain insight into how to improve productivity.
In addition, Work Management Scheduling and Optimization offers an advanced toolset that automatically identifies and updates a mobile worker's preferences (i.e. territory knowledge and skills), and then allocates the appropriate task to that worker. The Intelligent Advisor tool evaluates and displays the impact of assigning a job to a particular field worker in terms of overtime, tasks affected and travel time.
"The Work Management solution can be integral to the success of any service-based organization with a mobile workforce," said Forrest. "Gaining real-time insight into what is happening in the field is crucial to delivering higher levels of service excellence. As business leaders examine how their organization performs, they are exploring new and cost-effective ways to optimize efficiency and maximize productivity. Trimble's next-generation Work Management places the right information in the hands of the users when and where it is needed to enable accurate decision-making about the daily functions of the operation."
Trimble's Work Management solution is available now through its Field Service Management Division. For more information about Trimble's Field Service Management solutions, call 1-877-728-7623, email fsminfo@trimble.com or visit www.trimble.com/fsm.
